As a lawyer, he practices before\u00a0National Company Law Tribunal\u00a0(NCLT),\u00a0National Green Tribunal\u00a0(NGT), the\u00a0Electricity Regulatory Authority, etc. He was also a key member of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019, and the Joint Parliamentary Committee on Biodiversity Bill, 2021.
A former career bureaucrat in the\u00a0Indian Audit and Accounts Department (CAG India), Dr. Patnaik represented the\u00a0United Nations\u00a0and the Food and Agriculture Organisation.
A graduate of\u00a0St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, Dr. Patnaik completed his Master’s from the\u00a0Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore, the John F. Kennedy School of Government at\u00a0Harvard University, and Wharton School of the\u00a0University of Pennsylvania, USA.
Dr. Patnaik is well-known for his contributions to the economics, finance, technology, data privacy and environment space in the country and has been a constant on various platforms like\u00a0Brussels Privacy Hub<\/a>,\u00a0UK India Business Council\u00a0(UKIBC),\u00a0USIBC – US India Business Council, etc. discussing various technology policy issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
